1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of legal services provided by Prajakta Shinde Legal, a law firm based in Mumbai. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should refrain from using our services.

2. Nature of Legal Services

Legal Services: Prajakta Shinde Legal provides professional legal services including criminal litigation, civil disputes, family law matters, legal drafting, and advisory services in Mumbai.

No Guarantee of Outcome: While we strive to achieve the best possible results, legal outcomes cannot be guaranteed as they depend on judicial decisions and external factors.

Engagement Agreement: All services are provided based on a mutually agreed consultation or written agreement outlining scope, timelines, and fees.

3. Fees & Payments

Consultation Fees: Initial consultation may be chargeable and will be communicated in advance.

Service Fees: Fees depend on the nature and complexity of the matter and must be paid as agreed.

Non-Refundable Payments: Once services have commenced, fees are non-refundable except in cases of proven negligence.

4. Cancellation & Termination

Pre-Service Cancellation: Clients may cancel before services begin.

Post-Service Initiation: No refunds will be applicable once work has started.

Termination: The Firm reserves the right to terminate services in case of non-compliance, including non-payment.

5. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and communications in accordance with legal and professional obligations. All communications are protected under advocate-client privilege, subject to applicable laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

Prajakta Shinde Legal shall not be held liable for outcomes of legal proceedings, decisions of courts, or any indirect losses. Clients agree to use services at their own discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All legal documents and materials prepared by the Firm remain its intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon payment, clients receive a limited right to use the documents for their intended purpose.

8. Document Delivery

Legal documents are shared via email or secure digital platforms. Physical delivery, if required, is done via courier at the client’s cost.

9. Refund Policy

No refunds once services have started. Retainer fees are non-refundable. Clients are advised to confirm scope and fees before proceeding.

10. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Jurisdiction: Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Resolution: Parties agree to attempt amicable resolution before legal proceedings.

11. Privacy Policy

We collect and use client data only for legal services, communication, and billing. We ensure secure storage and do not share data except with necessary service providers.
